Hesperis is a genus of 24 species in the family Brassicaceae, mainly native to the eastern Mediterranean. Only one plant is common in gardens.
Division in spring.
Seed - sown in March.
Seed not covered and stored at 20°C (68°F) until germination.
Self-seeds less than the species and is not quite as hardy.
