Flipendula is a genus of 12 species in the rose family, Rosaceae, distibuted around temperate regions in the northern hemisphere. They have finely divided leaves and large flower umbels of tiny white or pink flowers. They grow in moist soil, often along streams and lakes.
Propagation:
Division in autumn or spring.
Seed - sown in September - January.
Seed is not covered and stored outside until germination. Optimum germination temperature is 10-15°C (50-60°F).
