Erodium is a genus in the family Geraniaceae. The species grown in Iceland are native to southern Europe and are fairly tender. They need well-drained soil and full sun and are best suited to rock gardens.

Propagation:

Seed - sown in January.

Seed just covered and stored at 20°C (68°F) until germination, which can take a few months. After germination lower temperatures and plenty of light are needed so the seedlings won't become lanky.

Beautiful alpine that needs sharp drainage. A bit tender.
