Digitalis, is a genus of around 20 species in the family Plantaginaceae. They are tall plants with long flower spikes and a basal rosette of leaves. They are very poisonous. They are distributed around W- and SW-Europe, W- and Central Asia, Oceania and NW-Africa.
Seed - sown in March
Seed just covered and kept at 20°C (68°F) until germination.
Or sown directly outside in spring. The place should be marked clearly so the seedlings can grow undisturbed.
Biennial, but can self seed and flowers then every other year. Very toxic plant.
