Adenostyles is a genus in the family Asteraceae. It is a small genus of three species all native to the Alps.

Propagation:


Division in spring.


Seed - sown in January - February.

Seed just covered and stored at 20°C (68°F) until germination. If there is no germination after 4 weeks, it should be refrigerated for 2-4 weeks and then moved back to 20°C (68°F).

Low growing alpine native to moist, shady areas in mountains of S-Europe. In Iceland it grows best in sun or partial shade in well drained soil. Hardy.
