Chinese globeflower is a tall perennial that bears orange flowers in July - August. It is a hardy and easy to grow plant that grows best in fairly moist, humus-rich soil in sun or partial shade. Given a sheltered position it generally doesn't need staking, but in more exposed settings staking might be necessary to keep it from blowing over. I've had this plant for a very long time and it grows and flowers without any fuss from me. I wonderful garden plant.
