Curly tansy has been growing in Icelandic gardens for decades. It is a hardy plant that tolerates most soil types and is practically impossible to kill by neglect. It spreads moderately with rhizomes and can become a sizable stand where conditions are favorable. The foliage is scented and more finely divided than on the species. The flowers are only composed of yellow disc florets. The plant is toxic.
