Przewalski's golden ray is a tall perennial that is native to N-China and Mongolia. It can grow in most soil types, but prefers moist soil. Most Ligularias have large undivided foliage, but Przewalski's golde ray has finely divided foliage, which gives it a more delicate appearance. The flower stalks are almost black, which makes a nice contrast to the yellow flowers. It is over a meter in height, but doesn't need support. It can grow in sun or partial shade. Hardy and easy to grow.
