Alpine french honeysuckle is a low growing perennial in the pea family with clusters of small, mauve flowers. I didn't have it for long, I moved it and that was the end of it. It's place in the garden needs to be chosen carefully as it does not tolerate being uprooted. It prefers moist, well drained, fairly poor soil in full sun.
