Bowman's root is a beautiful woodland plant that has proved itself hardy. It's medium sized with delicate, white flowers borne on flower stalks so slender they seem to be floating in the air. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich soil, but can tolerate other soil types. It is fairly shade tolerant, but grows and flowes best in partial shade. It has nice fall colours.
