Tibetan cranesbill is a low growing alpine native to rock screes in the mountains of Tibet. It needs gritty soil and full sun to thrive. It can be reluctant to flower. The foliage is finely divided with light green spots and burgundy edges, so it is quite pretty even when it's not in flower. The flower are fairly large, magenta with a white eye. It is fairly hardy given the right conditions and has lived in my gardens for a number of years.
