Caucasian gentian is a lovely plant that is not sparse with it's flowers. It flowers abundantly without fail in August - September. It is hardy and easy to grow. The leaves are lime green and the flowers a lovely gentian blue. The flower stalks flop over so it needs good room to spread out.
