'Flore Pleno' is a variety of wood anemone with white, double flowers. Wood anemone is native to deciduous woodlands where it flowers in early spring, before the trees leaf out. It grows best in partial shade, as it needs some sun to flower well. It needs favorable soil conditions to grow well, otherwise it might live but not grow with vigour. Optimal conditions are humus-rich, fertile, mildly acidic, well drained, but moist soil.
