Persian onion is a tall perennial that is quite showy while in flower. The flower clusters are large, globular, about the size of a grape fruit. The flower stalks are fairly strong, so in a fairly sheltered positions it doesn't need support. I've had since 2012 at least and it has flowered every year. A hardy, no fuss plant.
