I grew this plant from seed and it flowered for the first time in 2008. It has lovely lavender flowers and is very showy while it's in flower. I'm not 100% certain that this is in fact lily-leaved ladybells as my plant spreads quite proficiently and sources are not in agreement how quickly it should spread. It might depend on soil conditions. The rhizomes run just below the surface of the soil, so it is easy to keep in check, which suggests it's not creeping bellflower which is extremely difficult to eradicate.
